Aquamaintenance’s latest project was the complete renovation of the feature pond at Fountain Court within Peterborough Business Park.
The pond runs the full length of the offices and offers staff and visitors a chance to relax by this lovely pond. It is split in to 3 sections with two bridges spanning the width and a fountain in the top pond. 3,500sqm of Firestone EPDM Pondgard was needed for this project..

The pillars standing in the pond proved quite a challenge but Brad and his team show what can be achieved with the Firestone seaming system. The flow of water between the ponds is controlled by dams under the bridges and these too required some skilful detail work to ensure 100% water containment.
The client did not want the disruption of removing the perimeter slabs so the liner had to be fixed just above water level using termination bars around the full circumference. This is a tricky detail to get right on such a wide span but again you can see the care that has been taken to achieve a great finish.
