Boston Golf Course 10th Hole Redesign – ABBCO Project

ABBCO, led by owner Morgan, transformed the 10th hole at Boston Golf Course. The redesign makes the hole more strategic, visually striking, and environmentally thoughtful. The main feature is a 420m² pond placed directly in front of the green. We supplied the SealEco EPDM liner, and ABBCO installed it to ensure long-term durability and reliable waterproofing.

Additionally, ABBCO rebuilt the existing bunker and positioned it closer to the pond. This change creates a clear visual frame for the green and adds a strategic challenge for players. Moreover, all soil excavated from the pond was reused on-site, which improved the contours around the fairway and rough while reducing waste. Native plants were also added around the pond to create a natural look and support local wildlife.

As a result, the hole now plays differently. Golfers must carefully place their tee shots to set up the best approach. The second shot requires a precise carry over the pond, while the reshaped bunker catches mis-hit shots. Together, these features create a genuine risk-reward experience that rewards strategy and accuracy.

The project also highlights the performance and sustainability of SealEco EPDM. Furthermore, it showcases ABBCO’s expertise under Morgan’s leadership. By combining thoughtful design and skilled execution, we delivered a feature that enhances playability, improves water management, supports ecology, and elevates the overall character of the 10th hole.
