The Pond Guys – Hilton Garden Inn

The water feature at the Hilton Garden Inn at Heathrow Terminal 4 needed refurbishing and reinstating to its former design and purpose. We were asked to supply and assist with the installation of the four sheets of PondGard. The base of the pond was already concreted so made a perfect surface for using the QuickSeam joining system and to get The Pond Guys team involved in learning the process.

The first stage was to install the Underlay which plays a crucial role in protecting the liner throughout its entire lifespan. The large sheets of PondGard were then rolled out and positioned before being seamed together.

In addition to the PondGard sheets we supplied a Greenseal EPDM Box Welded Liner for the sump area where the fountain would be located.

With two perfect Spring sunshine days for the installation  we were able to get the pond watertight and ready to go.

1,100m2 of PondGard EPDM were supplied to The Pond Guys via Oasis Water Garden Products.
