Fairwater – SEE Monster Weston-super-Mare

Fairwater were appointed to install the water capture element of this amazing art installation in Weston Super Mare. The Monster had a 10m high waterfall (constructed by a specialist contractor) cascading 2,700m3 of water per hour on to the lined and concreted reservoir.

This was a technical installation that required all the skills Fairwater have developed over many years of pond and lake construction. Working within a strict timescale and alongside other skilled contractors to make this a success the vital lining element was completed on time and we are thrilled with the result.

 It is great to play a part in a great British tradition of Art for the People, a brave and ambitious project that showcased so many skills and innovation.
