Turtle Productions Attenuation Swale
Turtle Productions undertook the lining of an 11,158 sq.m attenuation swale in Lower Heathcote, Warwickshire. This extensive project utilised the durable 1.0mm Elevate EPDM PondGard, with the pond measuring 350m in length and 30m in width. The construction involved employing 24 rolls of the largest Elevate sheets, each measuring 30m x 15m, seamlessly joined on-site.
The incorporation of Elevate QuickSeam products played a crucial role in effectively connecting the pond liner sheets and creating terminations for the inlet/outlet structures, ensuring a secure and reliable containment system.
Noteworthy is the application of wider 5.25m contractor rolls of underlay, strategically aligned along the pond’s profile. This approach proved optimal, covering a total area exceeding 25,000 sq.m, offering robust protection for the liner and contributing to the overall success of the project.
