Turtle Productions – Winchester Wildlife Lake

Turtle Productions were tasked with lining a new wildlife lake complex for Valley Projects’ client near Winchester, fed by a re-circulatory header pond.

With planning permission granted, Valley Projects designed this impressive cut-and-fill structure. You can read more about its creation and view drone footage here.

We delivered the liner to the site and installation began during the hottest week of the year, with temperatures reaching the high 20s. The upper pond was formed using two main pieces, with additional sections welded on to create its unique shape.

The lower lake was constructed by joining six PondGard EPDM liners, reusing material where possible to line the future re-circulatory waterfall.

Working with Valley Projects, Turtle completed this project efficiently. We look forward to revisiting this project once it has settled, been planted, and matured.
